Uzbekistan eVisa: Check Visa-Free Status Before Paying (2026)

First check whether any visa is needed

Uzbekistan’s current government page lists visa-free regimes of different lengths, plus conditional entries such as a ticket requirement for some passports. Confirm the exact passport and conditions. Do not pay for an eVisa when the trip is already visa-free.

If visa-free entry does not apply, find the passport in Appendix 1, the separate eVisa eligibility list. A passport outside that list must follow the relevant embassy or consular route.

Entry type and fee

The current eVisa tiers are:

• single entry: USD 20;
• double entry: USD 35;
• multiple entry: USD 50.

All three permit a stay of up to 30 days. The eVisa is valid for entry within 90 days from registration. If less than 30 days remain in that validity window when the traveller enters, the stay cannot extend beyond the eVisa expiry.

Timing and output

The official terms require an application at least 3 working days before the planned arrival. Consideration takes 2 working days, not counting the filing day.

Activation uses a digital code sent by email. A positive result arrives at the same email address as a PDF. Carry that eVisa in printed or electronic form with the same passport used in the application.

Images and passport match

Enter personal data in English from the valid travel document. The live guidance asks for a 35 × 45 mm face photo at 300 dpi, and its current error text requires JPG or JPEG below 1024 KB. The readable passport data-page copy has a published 500 KB maximum.
