Taiwan TWAC, the free form, and how to spot the sites pretending to be it.

The Taiwan Arrival Card replaced paper cards on 1 October 2025. It is submitted online, and it is free.

The current submission window is within 7 days before arrival, extended in July 2026. Older guides describing a shorter window, or pointing at niaspeedy.immigration.gov.tw, are out of date.

Fast facts

• Official portal: twac.immigration.gov.tw, under the government .gov.tw domain.
• Agency: National Immigration Agency, Ministry of the Interior.
• Cost: free.
• When: within 7 days before arrival.
• Since: online only from 1 October 2025.
• Groups: one person may file individually for up to 10 travellers, and the group-file import supports up to 16.
• At inspection: no printout needed. Scanning the passport retrieves the TWAC record.
