Qatar’s current visitor system is passport-first. Qatar Tourism says citizens of more than 102 countries can use free entry. GCC citizens do not need a visa.
Travellers who need an entry visa can apply through Hayya. The Government Communications Office confirms that hayya.qa is the post-World Cup hub for tourist and event visas even though the domain is not a .gov.qa address.
