Section 1 · Movement lookup

Document type
Select the travel-document type used when Migraciones recorded the movement. The TAM is generated at immigration control; this is not a pre-arrival application.

Document number
Enter only the letters and numbers from the document number. Remove dots, hyphens and spaces.

Nationality
Select the nationality used in the recorded movement. It may differ from the country of residence.

Arrival or departure date
Enter the arrival or departure date as DD/MM/YYYY. The live control accepts ten characters and inserts the slashes.

Include departure record
Use the departure-record option when that movement should appear in the output. Complete the CAPTCHA, search and download the returned TAM.

The official site shows a confirmation on screen. Screenshot it — that's your backup.

No email step
The public lookup displays the record for download. It does not ask for an email address.

At immigration
Download the TAM Virtual record showing the registered movement and authorized stay.

Download the record
Save the TAM Virtual after a successful lookup. Print a copy if an airline, hotel or authority requests proof of the movement record.

Check the recorded stay
The TAM shows the movement and authorized stay recorded by Migraciones. Contact Migraciones if the record is missing or incorrect.

Select the nationality recorded for the movement, not the country of residence. Enter the arrival or departure date as DD/MM/YYYY. The live control inserts the slashes.
Choose the output
Select the departure-record option when that movement should appear in the TAM. Complete the CAPTCHA and run the search.
Download and review
Save the returned TAM Virtual. Check the movement and authorized stay. If no matching record appears, recheck the exact border document and date before contacting Migraciones.
