Morocco eVisa · field guide · varies

The fields where people get the official eVisa wrong, in form order.

The live eligibility page and official PDFs publish the route questions, required documents, 35 x 45 mm photo size, JPG/JPEG/PDF formats and 1 MB upload limit. The authenticated application does not expose public text-field regexes, character limits or error strings. No invented pattern or error decoder is used, and no local validator is mounted.

§ Fields, in order

12 fields, 4 sections, varies total.

All sections Showing 12 of 12
Section 1 · Eligibility first
01

Entry eligibility result

Run the live Accès Maroc checker. Stop if it says no visa is required; there is no paid eVisa form for that trip.

02

Nationality/Country Citizenship

Select the nationality of the ordinary passport that will be presented at the border.

03

Country of Usual Residence

Choose the current country of usual residence. If Category B is offered, prepare the qualifying residence card or permit.

04

Document type (Passport)

Use eVisa only with an ordinary passport. Other travel-document holders are directed to an embassy or consulate.

05

Purpose of the Trip

Choose the real trip purpose and answer the separate event question. The current eVisa terms cover Tourism and Business.

Section 2 · Category evidence
06

Residence permit or supporting visa

Category B uses a qualifying residence card or permit valid at least 180 days. Category C uses an eligible multiple-entry non-electronic visa valid at least 90 days.

Section 3 · Application
07

Surname, given name and date of birth

Copy surname, given name and date of birth from the ordinary passport used for travel.

08

Passport and supporting-document details

Enter nationality, number and validity from the passport and any residence card or supporting visa used for eligibility.

09

Email and confirmation

Enter and confirm one email you control. The portal sends a secure application link to it.

Section 4 · Attachments
10

Colour photo

Use a good-quality 35 x 45 mm colour photo taken within the last 6 months with facial features clearly shown.

11

Ordinary passport colour copy

Attach clear colour copies of the valid ordinary passport pages that show identity and validity.

12

Supporting attachments

Attach the Category B, Category C or Business evidence that applies. Scan as JPG, JPEG or PDF no larger than 1 MB.

§ After submit

What happens between hitting submit and getting through immigration.

  1. 01

    Confirmation screen

The official site shows a confirmation on screen. Screenshot it — that's your backup.

  2. 02

    Email arrives

Within a few minutes from a acces-maroc.ma address, with the record details.

  3. 03

    At immigration

Track the file in the Accès Maroc account. If accepted, download the eVisa and carry it with the same passport and any residence card or supporting visa used for eligibility.

  4. 04

    No printout needed

Screenshot is fine. PDF is fine. Even the email app open on your phone is fine.

  5. 05

    If verification fails

Rare. Officer looks you up by passport number — your record is already in the system.

The public checker and official PDFs expose the route questions, required documents and upload limits. The authenticated text inputs do not publish regexes, character limits or official error strings. This page therefore mounts no local validator.

1. Run the eligibility checker

Enter the nationality, usual residence, document type, event answer, trip purpose and other valid-visa status. Follow the result exactly: no visa, consular visa, AEVM or eVisa.

2. Confirm the eVisa category

Category A is nationality-based. Category B depends on residence and a qualifying permit valid at least 180 days. Category C depends on a qualifying multiple-entry non-electronic visa valid at least 90 days. All eVisa routes use an ordinary passport.

Enter and confirm an email you control. The portal sends the secure application link there and uses the same address for later tracking.

4. Copy document data

Transcribe surname, given name, date of birth, nationality, document number and validity from the passport and any residence card or supporting visa used for eligibility.

5. Prepare the photo and passport copy

Use a good-quality 35 x 45 mm colour photo taken within the last 6 months. Attach clear colour copies of the ordinary passport pages showing identity and validity.

6. Add category evidence

Category B adds both sides of the qualifying residence card or permit. A receipt for an application, renewal or extension is not accepted. Category C adds the qualifying visa. Business applicants add evidence of the business purpose.

7. Keep attachments within the published limit

Scan attachments as JPG, JPEG or PDF, no larger than 1 MB. Review every field and file before validation because a validated, paid request cannot be cancelled or refunded.
