Morocco eVisa: Check Whether You Need One Before Paying (2026)

Accès Maroc may tell you that no visa is required. Treat that result as the first decision, not the payment page.

You may not need any visa

The Moroccan embassy tells travellers to verify visa-exemption eligibility before applying. Use the live Accès Maroc checker with the passport nationality, residence, document type, trip purpose and supporting status.

If the result says no visa is required, stop. There is no eVisa form and no eVisa fee for that trip.

The same checker may instead direct the traveller to a consular visa or AEVM. Do not force those routes into the eVisa form.

Verify the non-government-suffix portal

acces-maroc.ma does not end in a government suffix. The safe verification path is to open the Ministry of Foreign Affairs page above and follow its Accès Maroc link. The Ministry says the platform was developed by engineers and technicians of the Department.

The current briefing note defines three routes:

  • Category A: listed nationalities using an ordinary passport valid at least 90 days from application.
  • Category B: visa-required foreign citizens living in a listed country, with an ordinary passport valid at least 90 days and a qualifying residence card or permit valid at least 180 days.
  • Category C: visa-required foreign citizens holding a qualifying multiple-entry non-electronic visa valid at least 90 days, plus an ordinary passport valid at least 90 days.

Use the live checker because the country lists can change.
