eDAV is DNIT's online Travellers' Customs Declaration, a real web filing made on the DNIT website before entering or leaving Paraguay; it covers cash and bearer negotiable instruments (cash, traveller's cheques, bonds, shares, among others) carried in either direction, with no maximum amount, and declaration is mandatory above USD 10,000 (Ley 1015/97; Resolución DNA 475/2021) — above the threshold is certain. At exactly USD 10,000 the official wording conflicts: the eDAV page, the 2025-07-22 bulletin and the guide PDF require declaration of sums 'more than' (más de / superior a) USD 10,000, while the 2026-02-04 bulletin requires 'superior o igual a' (equal to or greater than) USD 10,000, so the boundary must not be read as strictly > or >= — confirm with DNIT. After filing, the traveller obtains a 'Código QR' to display to the customs authority (2026 bulletin). No filing fee is stated in any DNIT source; fee unknown.
