Who it applies to, exceptions and limits (full text)
FBR provides an online currency-declaration system for arriving and departing international passengers. Its official clarification confirms that passenger declaration rules also cover gold jewellery, precious stones and prohibited/restricted goods, and allow manual declaration at the customs counter or electronic filing. This record does not turn a proposed notification into an enacted threshold, and it states no amount threshold, foreign-currency cash carry-out limit, age band or destination-specific exception (including any Afghanistan-related allowance): the SBP-administered limit on passengers' foreign-currency cash carry-out and the FBR-administered requirement for passengers to declare to Customs are distinct regimes that both involve passengers; their current figures and required submission actions remain unverified and must rest on each regime's own current official text, so neither may be inferred from the other (see unresolved PK-audit-1 and PK-fbr-sro-text).
