Required at every entry to Chile (air, land or sea border): declare under oath whether you carry, on your person or in your baggage, products, parts or by-products of plant or animal origin, or products used in agricultural/forestry activities, regardless of quantity or when they were obtained. On age, the current SAG pages are addressed to “Personas mayores de 18 años que ingresen al país” (trámite page) and state that “El Formulario Declaración Jurada SAG debe ser llenado por toda persona mayor a 18 años que ingresa a Chile” (digital-controls page) — literally persons over 18; this record does not read that wording as unconditionally requiring a traveler who is exactly 18 to complete the form on their own (the 2020 paper form's instructions define legal age as “18 años o más”; see unresolved “cl-sag-age-exact-18”). The trámite page also covers diplomats, Chilean official officers, foreign-government personnel and international-organization staff, and states “Si eres responsable de menores de 18 años, debes declarar en tu formulario el contenido de su equipaje”: the baggage of persons under 18 is declared in the responsible adult's own declaration. The digital channel is available only at the border controls listed by SAG: Aeropuerto Arturo Merino Benítez (SCL/AAMB), Aeropuerto Diego de Aracena (IQQ), Pehuenche, Hua Hum, Cardenal Samoré, San Sebastián and Integración Austral; at other airports, seaports and land borders the paper form is used. The trámite is free of charge ('No tiene costo'); a false declaration may be fined. This agricultural-quarantine declaration does not replace the customs declaration for cash or bearer negotiable instruments (DPTE) and does not represent general Chilean customs duties or taxes.

Conditional duty applying to both entry into and exit from Chile: under Article 4 of Law N°19.913 and Article 168 bis of the Ordenanza de Aduanas, as stated on the official UAF page, anyone who carries or transports cash, or bearer negotiable instruments, into or out of the country for an amount strictly exceeding USD 10,000 (or its equivalent in other currencies) must inform the Servicio Nacional de Aduanas (Chilean Customs). Customs in turn sends the corresponding Declaración de Porte y Transporte de Efectivo (DPTE) to the Unidad de Análisis Financiero (UAF); travelers do not file the DPTE directly with the UAF. Introducing or extracting such money through an unauthorized crossing, or without informing Customs, or with false information, constitutes smuggling (contrabando), and Customs must retain the whole amount when the offence is detected. The traveler-facing submission form or channel cannot be verified from the saved official text (handle it with Customs at the border); no fee information is available. This obligation is separate from, and is not replaced by, the SAG agricultural sworn declaration.
