When to apply

The online form will be available 72 hours prior to arrival in Barbados; travellers fill it in at a time and place convenient to them and present the two receipts to Immigration and Customs on arrival. The 72 hours marks when the online window opens, not a deadline to file 72 hours in advance; neither source states an advance-filing deadline. The 2020 regulation sets no time window for Form C.23.

Who it applies to, exceptions and limits (full text)

All travellers to Barbados complete one online Immigration and Customs Form and, once completed, save or print the Immigration and Customs receipts for presentation on arrival — the two receipts belong to this single submission, not two procedures. The customs part is Form C.23 (Passenger Customs Declaration, Customs Act Cap. 66, as substituted by the Customs (Amendment) Regulations 2020): every traveller, or head of a family travelling with children under 18, must complete a Customs Form. Its Yes/No questions cover pieces of luggage; fruits, plants, cut flowers, vegetables, soil, meat, live animals and organisms, honey, wildlife products, plant material, food; pharmaceuticals; narcotics and other illicit drugs, biological substances, arms, ammunition, explosives and other weapons; commercial merchandise; and carrying currency or monetary instruments over BDS$10,000 or equivalent — a question inside the same submission, not a separate form. It also asks citizens/residents aged 18 or more whether they have claimed the duty exemption on goods up to BDS$500 per calendar year; all passengers aged 18 or more may bring wine or spirits not exceeding 1 litre.
