The Lao eVisa is a single-entry Tourist Visa. It is not the same thing as a visa on arrival, and it only works at the 9 ports named by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The government portal calculates the fee after you select the passport. It does not publish one amount that is safe to quote for every traveller, and the fee is non-refundable.
