Jordan has two separate things people confuse. The visa is issued by the Interior Ministry, and the single-entry tourist visa costs JD 40 for one month on arrival at the airport. The Jordan Pass is a Ministry of Tourism package that includes over 40 sites and removes that JD 40 fee under conditions.

- Visa fee it waives: the JD 40 single-entry visa for one month on arrival, if bought before arrival and the stay is 2 whole nights (3 days).
- Visa on arrival: Queen Alia Airport and Sheikh Hussein Bridge. Wadi Araba grants it to pass holders. Aqaba Airport needs no visa for non-restricted nationalities.
- Restricted nationalities: 53 listed by the Interior Ministry as needing prior approval.
- Interior Ministry e-visa: an account login at
eservices.moi.gov.jo/MOI_EVISA, for applications filed from outside the Kingdom, with a JD 2 service allowance and JD 1000 guarantees per invited person.
