What is the official DR E-Ticket website?

The only official site is eticket.migracion.gob.do. Domains ending in .gob.do are reserved for Dominican government entities. Any other domain — including sites with DGM-style branding — is a middleman.

What the E-Ticket actually is

The Dominican Republic E-Ticket is a digital form for entering and leaving the country. It combines what used to be three separate paper forms: the immigration card, the customs declaration, and the international boarding card.

One E-Ticket covers both arrival and departure for the same trip. You fill it once before arriving, show the QR at immigration on entry, and show it again (or a refreshed version) on exit.

It is free.

No one can charge you for it. No fast-track or priority tier exists. The only legal destination is eticket.migracion.gob.do, a domain reserved under .gob.do for Dominican government entities.

The problem

Search Google for “Dominican Republic E-Ticket” and several paid ads in the top results are commercial resellers charging $29 to $45 to fill a free form. Some submit the real E-Ticket for you. Some file a different, lesser form or nothing at all, and you find out at arrival.

The Dirección General de Migración (DGM) has issued public statements that no third party is authorized to charge for the E-Ticket.

Dispute the charge with your credit card issuer. “Service not rendered” or “deceptive practice” usually works. Best results within 60 days.

I filled out the form but didn’t get the QR email.

Check spam. If still missing after 1 hour, refile. Duplicate submissions are harmless. The most recent applies.
