Cuba D'Viajeros · field guide · ~10 minutes

The fields where people get the official D'Viajeros wrong, in form order.

The official D'Viajeros brochure identifies four sections and the QR result, but the live portal does not publish readable regexes, maxlengths or validation messages. These seven cards cover the public information groups and entry documents only.

§ Fields, in order

7 fields, 4 sections, ~10 minutes total.

All sections Showing 7 of 7
Section 1 · Traveller information
01

Passport

Use the passport carried to Cuba. Cuba Travel states it must be valid for six months from entry. If an eVisa is required, the same passport must be linked to that visa.

02

Email address

Use an inbox you can open while travelling. The official service brochure says the completed PDF with QR code is sent by email.

Section 2 · Immigration information
03

Arrival information

Complete D'Viajeros during the seven days before travel, after the arrival itinerary is stable. Follow the live date and transport controls; no public format rule is published.

04

Stay in Cuba

Use the confirmed accommodation for this trip. Keep the booking details beside the passport and itinerary while completing the form.

05

Tourist eVisa code, when required

If your passport requires a tourist visa, obtain the eVisa first and enter its emailed code here. The old Tourist Card has been replaced by eVisa; the visa fee depends on the consulate or authorised channel.

Section 3 · Customs information
06

Customs declaration

Answer the live customs questions from the baggage actually carried. The official brochure identifies customs as a separate D'Viajeros information group.

Section 4 · Health information
07

Health declaration

Answer the health questions shown for the current journey. Public sources identify the section but publish no live field format or validation message.

§ After submit

What happens between hitting submit and getting through immigration.

  1. 01

    Confirmation screen

The official site shows a confirmation on screen. Screenshot it — that's your backup.

  2. 02

    PDF and QR arrive

After completion, D'Viajeros emails a PDF containing the QR code. Save it before travel.

  3. 03

    At immigration

Save the emailed PDF and QR code. Show it on a device or as a printout to the authorised personnel on arrival.

  4. 04

    Phone or printout

The official brochure says the QR can be shown on a device or on a printed copy.

  5. 05

The QR is not the visa

D'Viajeros records entry information. A traveller who needs a tourist visa must obtain the separate eVisa before completing the form.

The official brochure identifies four sections but does not publish the live form’s regexes, character limits or error messages. Follow the controls visible on the portal.

Before starting

Open D’Viajeros during the seven days before travel. Have the passport, confirmed arrival itinerary, accommodation and accessible email ready.

If a tourist visa is required, obtain the eVisa code first. D’Viajeros is free; the eVisa is a separate application and fee.

Traveller and immigration information

Use the passport carried on the trip. The official tourism page says it must remain valid for six months from entry. The eVisa, when required, must be linked to the same passport.

Copy the current arrival and accommodation details. Enter the emailed eVisa code only in the visa field shown by the live portal.

Customs and health information

Answer for the current trip and the baggage actually carried. Do not copy answers from an earlier visit. The public brochure confirms these two sections but does not publish their live wording or validation rules.

Save the result

After completion, D’Viajeros emails a PDF containing the QR code. Save it offline and, if practical, print it. Show it with the separate entry documents when asked on arrival.

If the email does not arrive, first check spam and confirm the address entered. Do not pay a site to “unlock” a free D’Viajeros QR.
