Cuba D'Viajeros: Free Form, Separate Tourist eVisa (2026)

Two documents, two different jobs

D’Viajeros is free and mandatory for each arriving passenger. Adults and children complete an individual form for each arrival. It records advance traveller, immigration, customs and health information. After completion, the system emails a PDF with a QR code for arrival processing.

The tourist eVisa is separate. It is permission to enter for tourism when the passport and trip require a visa. The current Cuban tourism page says eVisa replaces the old Tourist Card. Its issuing fee depends on the consulate or authorised channel.

Paying for an eVisa does not complete D’Viajeros. Completing D’Viajeros does not issue a visa.

Official D’Viajeros portal

The host ends in .gob.cu and is operated under the Ministry of Transport with immigration, customs and public-health services.

Current Cuban guidance says D’Viajeros can be completed during the seven days before travel. Wait until the arrival and accommodation details are stable, but do not leave it to airport Wi-Fi.

If you need a tourist visa

The eVisa portal is evisacuba.cu. That host does not end in .gob.cu. Verify it by following the link from the official Cuba Travel regulations page; the eVisa portal footer identifies the Cuban Foreign Ministry.

The portal says the eVisa is linked to the passport and that the visa code is sent by email. It does not publish one global fee because the application is routed through a selected consulate or authorised channel. If you require the tourist eVisa, obtain the code before completing D’Viajeros.

What D’Viajeros collects

The official service brochure groups the form into four sections:

1. general traveller information;
2. immigration information;
3. customs information;
4. health information.

The entry documents include the passport, arrival itinerary, stay details and, when required, the separate eVisa code. Answer customs and health declarations for the current trip.

The live portal does not publish readable regexes, character limits or validation messages. This guide does not invent them.

QR and arrival

Use an email address available during the trip. Save the emailed PDF and QR code offline. The official brochure says it can be shown on a device or as a printout to authorised personnel in Cuba.

The QR is proof of the digital entry form. Keep the passport, eVisa when required, travel-insurance proof and return ticket as separate entry documents.
