Barbados ED Form · field guide · varies

The fields where people get the official ED Form wrong, in form order.

The official portal and legal form publish the information groups, but the protected live application exposes no readable regexes, character limits or validation messages. These eight cards claim no hidden pattern.

§ Fields, in order

8 fields, 3 sections, varies total.

All sections Showing 8 of 8
Section 1 · Travel information
01

Flight or vessel information

Use the operating flight or vessel information for the arrival. Match the current booking rather than a reservation code.

Section 2 · Passenger identity
02

Passenger passport

Use the passport carried to Barbados. The Immigration Department says it must remain valid for the duration of the trip.

03

Name as shown in travel document

Copy the last name and given names as written in the travel document.

04

Date of birth

Match the travel document and use the current form's date control. No stable live date pattern is claimed here.

Section 1 · Travel information
05

Intended address in Barbados

Enter the confirmed hotel, accommodation or host address in Barbados. Keep the booking or host details available at arrival.

06

Length of stay

Enter the planned number of nights for this visit. This answer does not grant or extend immigration permission.

Section 3 · Customs and receipts
07

Customs declaration

Answer the Customs section for everything carried in cabin and checked baggage. Review before submitting the declaration.

08

Email address

Use a valid inbox available during travel. Save both emailed receipts to the device and print backups if possible.

§ After submit

What happens between hitting submit and getting through immigration.

  1. 01

    Confirmation screen

The official site shows a confirmation on screen. Screenshot it — that's your backup.

  2. 02

    Two receipts arrive by email

Use a valid inbox. Save both the Immigration receipt and the Customs receipt after submission.

  3. 03

    At immigration

Separate Immigration and Customs receipts sent by email. Save them on a device or print them for arrival.

  4. 04

    Save or print both receipts

The official portal says both receipts may be saved to a mobile device or printed for presentation on arrival.

  5. 05

    Present receipts to both services

Keep both receipts available for Immigration and Customs. A receipt does not replace the authorities' arrival checks.
