Bahrain eVisa: Check Online and On-Arrival Eligibility (2026)

Online eVisa is not the only route

NPRA keeps separate official lists for online visas and visas on arrival.

Both pages say terms and conditions apply. A country name on the arrival list does not tell you that an online application is required, and it does not by itself say the arrival route is free.

Use the live selection tool for the passport, current GCC status and visit purpose.

If neither direct route is available, the NPRA FAQ says some applicants need a guarantor in Bahrain, such as an airline, hotel, travel agent, Bahraini company or Bahraini citizen.

Use only the NPRA portal

The portal identifies itself as the only official Bahrain visa application website. It also says no website or company operates on behalf of the Bahrain government.

Payment or possession of a visa does not guarantee entry. The border officer makes the admission decision.

Current Visit eVisa products

Choose only a product returned by the eligibility tool.

• Two-week single entry: BD 9 visa fee plus BD 4 application fee, BD 13 total.
• Three-month multiple entry: BD 25 issuance fee plus BD 4 application fee, BD 29 total.
• One-year multiple entry: BD 44 total.
• Five-year multiple entry: BD 64 total and a narrower published nationality pool.

These names describe product validity and entry count. Use the eligibility result’s conditions for the allowed stay; do not turn the product name into an assumed stay length.

Documents and timing

The four government service pages covered here list:

• a passport copy;
• a hotel reservation;
• a return ticket;
• a 3-month bank statement in English showing regular income of BD 300 to BD 500 per month or funds equivalent to BD 150 for each day of the visit.

The published processing estimate is 3 to 5 working days. The NPRA FAQ warns that exceptional cases can take longer.

Decision and arrival

NPRA emails the decision. If approved, use the official status service to retrieve and print the eVisa. Travel with the same passport entered in the application. No visa is stamped in that passport before arrival.
