Bahrain publishes separate country lists for online visas and visas on arrival. Do not assume that appearing on one list gives the same route or conditions as the other.

Fast facts

• Official portal: evisa.gov.bh.
• Operator: Nationality, Passports & Residence Affairs (NPRA).
• Routes: online eVisa and visa on arrival have separate eligibility lists.
• Published Visit eVisa totals: BD 13, BD 29, BD 44 or BD 64, depending on the eligible product.
• Published timing: approximately 3 to 5 working days; exceptional cases can take longer.
• Listed attachments: passport copy, hotel reservation, return ticket and a 3-month bank statement in English.
• Output: decision by email, followed by retrieval and printing on the official portal.
• Border document: use the same passport entered in the application.
